DAY #1 OF A REALISTIC ATTITUDE: WHAT I ATE, AND HOW I FELT
Hello folks, I'm here again. I've spent years trying to change my lifestyle and have always failed at every attempt. I can keep myself around for six months, then quit my fitness journey and return to my happy environment rich in carbohydrates, saturated fat, processed sugar, and more.
I do not find the right balance between my emotions and lifestyle. It has been hard to constantly change to keep myself growing in real life. Living in New York has been challenging. After moving to New York City, I adopted a high-speed life. Each step to educate myself is based on an effort of energy and discipline. I'm a single mother, working 8 to 10 hours 5 days a week; this life is unstable regarding schedule. Many things influence how hard the day will be, such as whether my child does not have a school day or if traffic is heavy at dismissal time.
In each try, I observed myself to identify biases. I found that food has 80% of the impact on body composition change, so fitness attitude has to be integrated. I built a fitness routine and an intense schedule according to my daily commitments, but I cannot follow my food selection or daily intake. It is a big trouble, because to keep my body shape and weight balanced, my food attitude must be strong.
Eat delicious food. My favorite Hispanic food makes me gain weight, but I'm happy when I eat it. Let's find together the big problem after knowing that eating by feeling is my mistake.
Day # 1 FOOD LOG
BREACKFAST
- Hispanic coffee and a bread round in a coffee shop. Time: 10:20 AM.
- I felt energetic and sleepy. Also, needing to go to the bathroom.
I spent $3.50
- Two bottles of wate. Time 10:32 AM.
- I felt energetic and concentrated to study.
LUNCH OUTSITE HOME
- Moro de Guandules with stewed chicken - no drink. Time: 3:09 PM
- I felt low energy and sleepy. Strong desire for dessert. Less concentrated to study.
- Frozen yogurt ice cream - "YOsweets" Washington Heights - Fruits and Sweet added Time:3:20 PM
- I felt less concentrated to study, tire and sleepy.
- Sweet Potatoe with boiled eggs
- ICE-CREEM my sister brought - Tentation 1000%- Time 8:00 PM
